Formal Invitations
For our formal invitations I knew I wanted to do the boarding pass style tickets, but I didn't want the added stress of trying to make them myself and spending all that time working on them. I found Etsy seller EllasPaper and am so thankful! She is creating our tickets in the style below for a very reasonable price ($2 a ticket including envelopes) and considering the time and effort I'd be putting in if I did them myself, I think it's totally worth it. The right side is perforated so our guests can detach it and mail back the RSVP section. They also include envelopes that have our address pre-printed on them and return Rsvp envelopes with our address on them as well. Score! Update: 4/9/11 They arrived in the mail today and I LOVE them! We chose Ecru colored paper and it has this luxurious beautiful sparkle finish to them, they look so expensive and professional!
Save The Date
We ordered these save the date magnets from Costco.com and used a photo of us from our vacation in Kauai last year as the image.
Photo Share Cards
We will be putting these postcards in our OOT bags to explain to our guests how they can share their photos with us. I got 100 of them for free from Vistaprint.com
AHR Invitations
Again, using the free postcard deal from vistaprint we ordered these for our casual backyard bbq AHR.
Welcome Brochures
Ordered 25 of these from vistaprint and plan to mail them to our guests about a week or two before they fly out so that they can get acquainted with the island.
Bachelorette Party Invites
My sister and I got together and designed these ourselves.
Thank You Cards
I made these in photoshop and ordered 100 free postcards from vistaprint! I paid to upload my own image and shipping, it was about $11!
DIY Projects
Here are a few DIY projects I want to do.
*Do Not Disturb Sign *Custom Luggage Tags *Bridal Suite Sign *Hanging Petal Toss Cone *OOT Bag Tag *Song Request Card
*Do Not Disturb Sign *Custom Luggage Tags *Bridal Suite Sign *Hanging Petal Toss Cone *OOT Bag Tag *Song Request Card
These are the song request DJ cards I made, even though we won't have a DJ, we wanted our guests to be able to contribute to the ipod playlists. We will be mailing these out with our invitations to the guests who we are pretty sure will be attending.
These are my first trial attempts at the petal toss cones and luggage tags.
The petal toss cones were made using this template: http://www.ayleebits.com/2006/06/10/diy-petal-toss-cones
I made tags for our OOT bags that have a little poem on them and the palm tree design from our invitations. They say "Aloha ___! As we come upon our special day, Nick & Heather would like to say...Welcome to Hawaii & enjoy your stay! We thank you for coming all this way!" I used this template and will glue them to pretty cardstock, hole punch them and tie them to the OOT bags:

I found some great templates and freebies on www.weddingchicks.com and created a few monograms from their site!
