Paper Lanterns
Who doesn't love paper lanterns? I think they are adorable and really wanted them for our wedding. I was shocked to see that rental companies charge a whopping $40 per lantern if you rent them! I opted instead to purchase mine from AsianIdeas.com in a variety of sizes for around $1 a piece. All of them will be white and we will either hang them over the balcony or above the small dance floor inside the house. I am planning to drop tea light LED lights into them instead of rigging up the bulbs and wiring. I may end up needing to place a small plate of some sort into the bottom of the lantern to cover the hole.
I'm also hoping to use these again at our backyard bbq AHR.

Bamboo Arch
I will be renting the bamboo arch on the left and I think I want to decorate it with white organza fabric and flowers. I may consider the capiz shell curtains too.
Flower Petal Aisle
After browsing beach wedding photos, I decided early on that I definitely wanted a flower petal aisle. I love the designed aisles, like the one pictured on the left, but will most likely have an easier aisle like the photo on the right.
Chairs
I will be renting white padded chairs and think it would be cute to decorate the sides with these paper lanterns in alternating aqua and green. I might alternate the paper lanterns with paper cones with flowers. I also might opt to use these adorable paper cones with flower petals for the guests to toss after the ceremony.
Paper Fans
I ordered these simple paper fans from Asian Ideas for our guests to use during the ceremony. I may add some sort of crafty message across them as well.
Table Settings
I'd love to go with a natural/Asian/bamboo style place setting theme. I bought some bamboo place mats and I also scored a bunch of quality looking chopsticks from the dollar tree. I think it will be funny watching people try to use them. I also will be ordering pom pom tissue napkin rings from etsy to add some more color to the tables. We'll have hot pink, aqua and green poms.
Wooden Flowers
I ordered these adorable little wooden flowers that were handmade from birch wood shavings from etsy seller AccentsAndPetals. I'm still not quite sure how I'll incorporate them into the decorations, but I may fill try to float them in vases or scatter them across the tables.
Out Of Town Bags
I am excited to make welcome bags for our guests. I think it's a great way to say thank you and the items may come in handy. Our guests will be spending a good chunk of their hard earned cash to come to our wedding so it makes sense to give them something more than just a wedding favor. Some of the items I might put in our OOT Bags include:
*Bottle of water *Travel Tissue *Welcome Letter
*Kona Coffee *Anti-bacterial wipes * Homemade CD of hawaiian/chill music
*Shout stain wipes *Custom map with ceremony location *Chocolate covered macadamia nuts *Small shooter bottle of liquor *Time line of events/itinerary
*Advil *Restaurant guide *Snacks-Hawaiian products
